This is Lucas performing the "Belly Bongo" as taught to him by his Daddoo! They beat on their bellies like a drum!

Firsts....

We are 13 months old, but this past weekend was our first REAL time playing outdoors. Last year we were too small, and we weren't walking by the end of warm weather, so this was a new adventure for us! Mommy took lots of pictures of us at Aunt Kristi's neighborhood playground! You may be bored with these for the next several days!

UNCC Homecoming 5K

One of my friends at work, Sarah, invited me to participate in the UNC-Charlotte 5K this past weekend. It was the first sunny day in what seemed like an eternity! I was so excited to get out and get the boys in the sunshine! We had a great time! Kristi and Matt came along too, and our friend Karen!



Uncle Matt ran the 5K in 24 minutes....we finished at 54 minutes, but were happy with our time!

I used the nice sunlight and all the great spots to work on using the manual settings on my camera. I am learning some things through trial and error if nothing else!


Thank goodness for the end of the race and SNACKS!

Blog Resuscitation and New Shoes...

Sorry the blog has been on life support lately!! Its not that we don't care about the blog, we've just all been in a "BAD WEATHER FUNK"!! We're tired of taking pictures in the house!! But, we had a great weather weekend and lots of good pictures to show you over the next few days!

We got our first pair of shoes this weekend! Here we are trying them out for the first time!
