The boys took to Reagan immediately, well, after they has finished the important task of finishing their snacks! Noah took her hand and ran and ran! It was like a scene out of Forrest Gump! I think he may be proposing! :) Well, now Lucas is moving in! I worry about this exact scenario when they are teenagers! Oh well, they'll work it out!
On Saturday, we participated in the UNCC 4.NINERK (Like a 5Km but a smidge less, i.e. UNCC 49ers) ! It was an alumni event, and the weather was beautiful! First of all let me give props to Sarah for finishing third in her division! She left us stroller toting peeps in the dust! Marty and I and Sarah's husband Hans finished in about 40 minutes. We did run part of the time, and I knocked 15 minutes off my time in February. Felt good....maybe I'll shoot for 30 minutes next time! I think Sarah finished in a little over 25 minutes. Here we are before the race styling in our new hats! We enjoyed snack time and a little bit of running of our own with Reagan and Quinn, Sarah's children after the race.
I am at my busiest time at work this week, so no time for photo editing. Enjoy these cute videos instead. Short film, but Oscar worthy! Includes dancing and fight scenes! :)
Sadly, even Marty will admit that Lucas inherited his Daddy's dancing moves!
We took the boys to two farms on Saturday! Why two? Because the first farm we went to only had hay rides starting at 10:30 and happening every 2-3 hours. We got to the first farm at 10:40 and barely missed the tour! So, we stayed here for a little while and selected our "pumpkees", and then stopped in the quaint little town of York for lunch at Tony's Pizza, then headed for another farm!! This was a cute farm though too! They had a great selection of pumpkins, and a lady that checked us out that only had one tooth!
We had a nice visit with our neighbors across the street, Ron, Andrea and their son Dillon. He is about six months older than Lucas and Noah! I have a feeling they have lots of trouble in their future!
