Cookies for Santa - 2011

Mommy had the boys make her a keepsake this year for many Christmases to come! We went to a pottery place and made our own Cookies For Santa plate, complete with out handprints. The boys were very excited about leaving Santa his cookies and milk. Christmas was so very fun this year. The boys are so blessed with their family, who love them so much. Marty and I are also very thankful for the special family in our lives, especially our parents, siblings and grandparents. We love you all very much! And, so do these little guys!!

Breakfast With Santa Claus...

The boys had pancakes with Santa a few weeks ago...no fear this year! This local event is wonderful for the kids. A non-rushed visit with Santa, free pictures, breakfast, face painting, pony rides and jumpy house! A very good investment...

Minnie was the last character we met. Both boys took bathroom breaks when she came by, so the character coordinator set us up a little alone time with Minnie before we left. The boys with Minnie about melted my heart...they both kissed her nose, held her hand. So precious...

On Saturday, rather than go to a park, we visited Chef Mickey, a character restaurant at The Contemporary Hotel. Worth every penny!

Our Florida Family...

We spent some time during our trip to Florida with my great aunt and uncle and our cousins! The boys were shy at first, but warmed up quickly with Chandler and Addison! We had a nice visit....

Magic Kingdom 2011 - Day 1

Here are pictures from Day 1 of our trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom. We had a super great time! I am sure it will disappoint some of you, but I did not take tons of pictures in the parks! I just tried to enjoy myself!

What's New in Our House for Christmas...

Here are some of the new ornaments from our tree this year. I made a fun trip to Peppermint Forest a couple weeks ago and bought a few new ones. I try to get a few new ones every year to update. I am a Christmas junkie! Nana also bought a couple for the boys, and I also buy one for them every year that has their name and the date on it. This year, Noah got Noah's Ark and Lucas got a Pirate with a Treasure Map.

Unfortunately, one of my Olde World ornaments has already bitten the dust, compliments of Lucas Smith. We were so worried about them last year as toddlers, but this year has been much worse. More curiosity...Mommy is taking lots of deep breaths!
