I Am THAT Parent Now....

I wrote "we" in the title, and then realized that Marty is not the pushover that I am! Whatever, the fact they want to wear their rainboots when its 90 degrees is hysterical!

Cereal Hi-Jackers...

We have learned if cereal is ever to be eaten in peace, you have to hide!! Otherwise, you are forced to share!

Fun Party for Kristi and Matt (and Baby Hubie)

On Saturday, we were invited to Matt's aunt's home for a baby celebration! We had such a great time, and we all share lots of mutual friends!







Matt's cousins presented him with a very special "birthing" shirt. All ten of their children were born with their fathers' wearing this shirt...we all agreed it was kind of creepy, but sweet at the same time. Kristi thought it may interfere with her "focal point" and be distracting. We'll see if Matt wears in when Baby Hubie is born....I vote YES!

Mommy's Birthday Weekend....

Saturday was my birthday, but I spent the entire week celebrating! It was the most awesome week! I had a lunch date with friends every day last week except for Friday, and that is because I took Friday off to recover from the BRITNEY SPEARS concert on Thursday night. Stephanie was nice enough to come down and go with me! I had a blast! It has been a long time since I have enjoyed myself that much!

On Friday night, we went out to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory (my choice) for dinner, and we invited our sweet neighbors! We all had a great time! The pictures are below....

The mention of chocolate milk is good for any kind of bribery...and that miraculously includes sitting still for one second! :)

Time With Friends....

We had our second annual get together with the Crouch and Smith families! I have known Lisa and Steve since 1996, right after I got out of college. I met Mike through Steve and Lisa, then Heidi came along too! I am glad we were able to get the kids together. Lisa and Steve have Jason and Ben, and Mike and Heidi have Eli, with a little sister for Eli on the way in November!

Momentous Occasion......

We had lunch at Lexington Barbeque on Saturday. While we were standing outside after our meal, Marty and I realized it was Lucas and Noah's first trip there! Sure was glad I had my camera!! :)

Beach Trip 2011

Our neighbors, Amy and Josh, invited us to go to the beach with them last weekend. It was the boys first trip since they were a little over a year old. They weren't totally sure about everything, but I have some photographs of some of the happy times. I am going to be in trouble with certain people because for some reason, most of the pictures are of Noah. Lucas doesn't cooperate very well....there are some cute together shots though...
