I just want to say how thankful I am for my perfctly healthy children! I was brought to my knees today after reading a post of a blog I follow. Some of you may see my blog friends to the side. I follow Jonah's Story (The Williams Family) blog very closely. Jonah has EB, which is a very horrible disease where your skin peels off because of any friction. Through his blog, I also follow a blog about Tripp, another EB baby. He turned two years old in May, and I have been following his story since very early on. If you go to Jonah's blog, you can click on Tripp's page. It is not for the faint of heart. Jonah is in much better shape than Tripp.
Tripp has been slowly declining. Jonah's mom had posted a short update this morning which I read. I had to leave my desk and go catch my breath. The pain this child has had to endure is just unbelieveable and I am sure I don't even know the half of it. I ache for his mommy who just amazes me with the strength she conveys in her posts. She posted tonight that they are home, and trying to make him comfortable.
I don't usually use my blog for a personal soapbox, but I just really want to say to all my friends and family to keep in perspective the small stuff! I am the first to admit I am guilty of losing it over the smallest things, but a healthy child is a blessing not to be taken for granted. If you think you've got it bad, go look at this child's blog. You don't have it bad!
Also, please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. I don't even know them, but I feel connected because I have followed little Tripp's story for so long.
I am off to kiss my babies!

Top Of The Duke Energy Center....
Last week, the top three floors of our new building were opened for employees to see. As you can see, the area is beautiful, bright with tons of natural light! The top two floors will be closed only to executives when they move in at the end of July, but the vista will be open to everyone at all times. I love our new building! I feel very lucky to work there....

Plugging My Good Friend.....
Have I mentioned that my neighbor is a fabulous photographer?! She comes over and takes all these wonderful candids of my boys. She is teaching me some tricks with editing, but her camera skills are way superior to mine! She is hoping to one day make photography her career! "Like" her on Facebook...Speechless Photography! Enjoy these next few posts of all the boys...

Lucas and Jackson....
We have finally started letting the dogs out some while the boys are out. We feel like they can hold their own now. Jackson turns into a big baby around them. The boys are very well versed that Jessy is not to be bothered. They understand she bites!! So far, she's not shown any agression to them. It's rather impressive for her, but I am sure the day will come when they do something to deserve it.

4th of July Parade - Continued
We had to have a quick photo op with Mia before we left school after the parade. After a year of being seperated, the twins and Mia are back in the same class. They are all growing up so fast. Hard to believe in six short months, they will be turning three years old. Sniff, sniff...

After the parade, we went to get ice cream.

Daycare 4th of July Parade....
The twins have had three 4th of July parades at school since they started there. This was the first year we went. It worked out since I was still out on my recovery. In the previous two years, I guess we just didn't go because we were working and everyone said, "oh, its just a couple laps around the parking lot". Seeing it this year really left me with regrets that I hadn't been there the other two years. It was the cutest thing! Lucas and Noah were in the lead for their class! They squealed when they saw there Mommy and Daddy there!
