School Christmas Pageant - 2012

Here are some shots from the twins Christmas show at school.  Wow!  It was cute, but they sure were bad.  I am going to try to upload the video to You Tube for your viewing pleasure.  Their class performed "The Twelve Days of Christmas".  Lucas was the Partridge and Noah was The Pear Tree.  They were supposed to hug everytime their verse was said, but it was the most violent 12 hugs I've ever seen.  They kncked each other down several times with their "hugs".

Family Halloween Shots - 2012

Marty only allowed these photos to be posted on our blog, and not on Facebook.  So, if you are still following my sad blog, good for you!  Since the twins wanted to be super heroes, we all dressed up!  This was the first year Marty got in on the action.  I loved him for being such a sport!!

Our First NFL Game...

 

Here are a few pictures before our trip to the Panthers game last weekend.  We were invited to a tailgate uptown, but once we got there we decided to try to find tickets to the game.  Marty was successful and managed to even find us seats in the Club Level, which were fantastic seats for Lucas and Noah's first game.  We were totally surprised how good they were, how much they enjoyed it, and the fact that that we were able to stay for the entire game.  As usual, it ended badly for the Panthers, but it was a wonderful memory for the Smith family.

 

First Fishing Trip...

Poppy coordinated our first fishing trip while we were at the beach! I think they had fun, along with some success!

Good Times...

On our last night at the beach, we headed up to Broadway to check out the rides and play a game of putt-putt with Nana and Poppy.  I think it was probably a good thing we did that on the last night or they would have expected it every night!  These were some of the best smiles I got all week....happy boys!

Special Beach Visit...

Lucas and Noah had a special visitor at the beach this year.  Miss Allison stopped in to see us since she was on her family vacation too.  These kiddos don't miss a beat!  I love how they never forget each other even though we only see her twice a year.

Family Beach Trip - 2012

Here are a few pictures from our annual family beach trip.  What a wonderful time we had!  Seriously, tears welled up in my eyes when we had to go home.  Vacation seems more precious these days for sure.  I enjoyed spending good quality time with the kiddos!  More pictures to come later...

Growing Up....FAST!

It had to happen sooner or later.  I had to say godbye to my sweet little circus nursery.  It sounds so cliche, but I am not sure how we are facing age 4 in a few short months.  It has been a wild ride, but it sure has gone by so fast.  Here are some pictures of the boys "new" room.  They are going to be sharing a bed for awhile.  We don't feel like they are ready to be separated, but there was not room for two beds in their room for now.

 

I enlisted the help of my Go To Girl, Leigh Gibson, with Treasured Interiors.  She painted Lucas' helmet and Marty's garage mural, but this project took the cake.  Her talent is SO amazing.  Enjoy...
